The Blakeley Cemetery is located inside of Blakeley State Park along the Mobile-Tensaw Delta near Spanish Fort. The cemetery is said to be dated to 1814 when the now abandoned town of Blakeley was founded by Josiah Blakeley. Many of the headstones have been destroyed, lost or forgotten over the years.
